Smoothie King recently launched new Veggie Blend smoothies, introducing Carrot and Kale to the menu. The Apple Kiwi Kale, Berry Carrot Dream, and Carrot Kale Dream are the newest recipes to be offered.
Now Smoothie King is offering a new refreshing way for customers to eat their vegetables. Each of our new smoothies contain a combination of fruit mixed with carrot, kale, or a combination of both. Both vegetables have a mild sweet flavor that is enhanced when blended with the fruits in each smoothie.
Carrot is low in calories and a good source of fiber, B-vitamins, and potassium. They are noted for their extremely high content of vitamin A and beta carotene.
Kale is also low in calories and a good source of fiber, iron, and vitamins C & K. Kale also has more calcium per calorie than milk. Kale is also high in sulfur, and can help rid the body of toxins and keep the liver functioning at a high level.
